I’m ordering my dress online and need to have my measurements taken. Do you do this?
Yes! I can take your measurements for ordering your dress online.
I’ll ask you to send me a link to the dress you’re ordering and any information you have on the requirements for the measurements before you book your appointment.
At the appointment, you’ll need to be wearing the undergarments and shoes that you’ll be wearing with the dress (or something similar). And, you’ll need to wear tight-fitting clothes. This will help us get the most accurate measurements!
I take clients on a first-come, first-served basis, and my bookings do fill fast. You can secure your appointment with a deposit.
Do you have any availability?
I take clients on a first-come, first-served basis, and my bookings do fill fast.
Please contact me to talk about your dress (or garment) and how we’d work together.
Your spot is secured when you’ve had your consultation and have left your garment with me to begin work.
What happens at the consultation appointment?
You’ll need to bring your dress (or garment) and the undergarments and shoes that’ll you be wearing with the dress. If you don’t have these yet, bring something close to what you plan on wearing so we can see an accurate fit.
When you get to my studio, you’ll be shown a private space to change. After you have your dress and accessories on, we’ll look at your dress together in a full-length mirror.
You’ll tell me what you’d like changed, and we’ll talk about the fit and changes that could be made so you look your best!
I’ll share the expected timeline and next steps at the end of the consultation.
How soon will my dress be done?
I can be flexible depending on how many clients I’m currently working with.
The timeline depends on the alterations, when you need the dress (or garment), and my current workload.
I’ll ask you about the date of your event when we first talk. And, we’ll talk about the timeline in detail at your consultation.
I need my dress quickly. Can you do this?
I do take dresses (or garments) that are needed in a rush on a case-by-case basis.
Whether I can do it or not will depend on the alterations needed and how soon you need it done.
Contact me right away! A rush fee may apply.
How much do you charge for alterations and mending?
My rates vary depending on the alterations or mending that’s needed, the style of the garment, and the type of fabric.
On average, my clients with formal dresses pay $100-$200. But, you could pay more or less depending on the factors that I listed above.
What form of payment do you accept?
You can pay with any debit or credit card. Or, you can pay with cash in the exact amount of the invoice.
I don’t accept any payment method not mentioned here.
When do I have to pay?
Your invoice will be sent to you by text or email within 7 days of your consultation appointment.
You may pay before or at your final fitting before taking your garment with you.
I got my invoice and I have questions. What do I do?
